Funerary Marble Black Atlas®
Headstones · Grave slabs · Monuments · Raw & finished material · FOB Casablanca
Black Atlas® is the benchmark black marble for the funerary market: absolutely black hue with no veins, flawless mirror polish and constant lot-to-lot homogeneity. We supply raw material to stonemasons as well as finished products to specification.
Why Black Atlas®
Absolute black marble for a flawless funerary finish.
The funerary market demands three qualities that few black marbles can guarantee at once: an absolute black hue with no visible veining, a polished surface that stays glossy over time, and perfect homogeneity from lot to lot for recurring orders.
Black Atlas® meets all three criteria. Its composition of over 97% pure calcite gives it that deep, uniform hue that immediately sets apart monuments made with our marble — with no risk of surprises when cutting or polishing.

Positioning
Black Atlas® vs Zimbabwe Black and Indian Absolute Black.
Stonemasons and funerary wholesalers routinely compare origins. Here are the concrete arguments in favour of Black Atlas®.
Guaranteed absolute black — zero veining
Zimbabwe Black frequently shows greyish inclusions visible after polishing. Indian Absolute Black can reveal white veins at certain angles. Black Atlas® is mineralogically homogeneous — no surprises after polishing, no customer returns for colour non-conformity.
Lot-to-lot homogeneity
Funerary orders are recurring: the same stonemason orders headstones year-round. Our production from the same quarries guarantees a consistency of colour and quality that multi-supplier origins cannot offer.
Competitive pricing — direct producer
We are extractors and processors. No intermediary between the quarry and your container. Our FOB Casablanca prices are structurally lower than origins passing through traders or trading platforms.
Long-term polish stability
Black Atlas®'s high density (2.72 g/cm³) and very low water absorption (< 0.15%) give it excellent durability in outdoor conditions. The mirror polish does not yellow, does not dull, and withstands the freeze-thaw cycles of northern countries.
Target Markets
Our priority funerary markets.
Black marble represents a significant share of the funerary market in several regions of the world. Here is where we focus our commercial efforts.
Western Europe
France · Belgium · Netherlands · Italy
The most structured market: a dense network of funerary stonemasons, recurring orders, high quality requirements. France accounts for over 350,000 deaths per year. Belgian and Dutch stonemasons are active importers of black marble in blocks and slabs.
Maghreb & Middle East
Morocco · Algeria · Tunisia · Gulf
A fast-growing market with a strong cultural preference for black marble in funerary monuments. Demand for both raw blocks and finished products. Documentation: Arab certificate of origin available on request for Arab League countries.
Sub-Saharan Africa
Senegal · Côte d'Ivoire · Cameroon
An emerging market driven by urbanization and the rise of a middle class. Demand for premium black marble monuments is growing strongly. Active local importers, preference for semi-finished or finished products.
Our Approach
Raw material or finished products — your choice.
Every stonemason has their own way of working. Some prefer to process raw material through their own polishing lines. Others want gauged headstones, ready to engrave, to save workshop time.
We adapt: sawn raw slabs, polished headstones in standard formats, or complete monuments to plan. A combination is possible depending on each order's needs.
For funerary wholesalers, we also offer annual supply contracts with guaranteed volumes and fixed prices — a solution that secures supply and reduces transaction costs.
Funerary Export

Funerary marble requires special care in packaging — every piece represents a value-added product, intended for a visible, lasting final use.
